Founded in 1971, the Ramapo Rescue Dog Association utilizes air-scenting German Shepherd dogs to help locate individuals missing in a range of situations under varying conditions.  The team has assisted numerous agencies in their efforts to locate lost persons or victims of crime, as well as recover forensic evidence.  Missing individuals may be living or deceased, on land, or buried in debris or under water.
